ALRIGHT.
How crazy is it that Mother's Day is already gone?!?! I remember
thinking after Christmas that Mother's Day just would never come. And
now it has already passed. Bummer.
Thank
you for your amazing conversations we were able to share. I laughed,
cried, and was filled with the spirit. What family for?!?!?!
Other:
We have been SO blessed lately!!! Mother's Day ended up being such a
wonderful day with one of our investigators. She is one of those
people who is hot and cold. Never totally makes up her mind. Well, we
wrote her a little note a week and half ago, and delivered it to her
at the right moment and time. Since that day, she is on the up and
up! She is the one who asks about when the next FHE is. She comes to
church and looks forward to the lessons. She is our miracle!! We LOVE
SERVING HERE!!! Life is great.
Hmmm....don't
know if there is much else. LOVE YOU! I told you almost everything on
Sunday.

sent out the update below to the close friends and family and SO very much appreciate
those of you who sent her a Birthday greeting! SHE LOVED THEM ALL!!!!
Hello
friends of Katie!
We
were able to Skype for a bit on Sunday and she looked wonderful! My
favorite thing was to hear her recite D&C 4 in Italian. Luscious
language! She has a little over 6 months left and has enjoyed
every place/companion she has been with and learned to truly love the
scriptures. Right now she is in Lake Como, up by the Switzerland
border, one of the prettiest cities on earth and she adores it. She
tries very hard to be the best missionary/trainer she can be and
fortunately loves her companion like she loves her twin, even calls
her Kimmy occasionally. :) We absolutely love the unbelievable growth
and maturity we see in her letters home.
We
got an email this week from the Managing Director of the Missionary
Dept who had been with Katie at a training session about a month ago
in Milan and took the attached pictures of her and her badge. So
grateful he took the time to write and send them! Treasures!
It's
her 22nd birthday next Wednesday on the 22nd (her Superstar Birthday)
and the church discourages sending packages because they have to pay
the duty on them so if you get time she would love a one line email
wish whenever you think of it? Just seeing your email address in the
bar would make her happy. :)
Thanks
to your prayers, she is so blessed. I know Heavenly Father is aware
of her, protects her, comforts her, and is helping her every step of
the way, as He does ALL missionaries. I can't say thank you enough,
they mean SO MUCH!!!!
