Vi Voglio Bene

vi voglio bene

It means something that we don't have in english but we should. it literally means "i want the best for you" but it's like "i love you" . love is too broad and in no way powerful enough, but this phrase is perfect. i want the best for you, so much love but no confusion or broad-ness. --Paige Wightman

Katie was so excited she forgot to give us hugs goodbye when we dropped her off. This is a picture of her realizing she forgot and her dad giving her a hug with SO MUCH LOVE you can't even imagine unless you're a parent! Katie's companion sent home this Italian phrase and it fits perfectly.
